Representatives from the Environment Agency will be attending a meeting of the BCA Bonchurch Coast Group to talk about the Ventnor Coastal Defence Scheme.
The session will:
introduce the scheme
explain where the project currently stands
what the future may look like, and
provide an opportunity to hear more about the work from members of the project team.
Environment Agency representatives will also respond, where possible, to questions submitted by the Bonchurch Coast Group following the recent Landscape Visions and Opportunities Plan (LVOP) consultation.
Those attending will also have the opportunity to meet members of the team responsible for stakeholder engagement and ongoing communications throughout the project.
Everyone is welcome to attend, although this is a Bonchurch-focused community meeting, with discussion centred on the scheme and its implications for Bonchurch and the surrounding coastline.
