Dear friends and neighbours,

You are warmly invited to join us for Remembrance Sunday on 8 November at 11.00am.

We will gather at St Boniface Church, before walking together to the cenotaph for the Last Post, the laying of wreaths, two minutes’ silence, and prayers in remembrance of all those who have served and sacrificed.

Afterwards, we will return to the church for the remainder of the service, followed by refreshments and an opportunity to spend some time together.

Remembrance Sunday is observed across the country each November, close to Armistice Day, marking the end of the First World War in 1918. It is a time to pause, remember those who gave so much, and reflect on the hope for peace.
